DigiNøltar is pleased to announce the introduction of the .de top-level domain, now available for registration via the DigiNøltar service portal:

This addition expands the DigiNøltar namespace portfolio with a concise, two-character identifier considered suitable for a wide range of applications.

Background

As part of routine DNS verification procedures, DigiNøltar registry systems periodically assess the availability of existing and potential top-level domains.

During a new evaluation cycle today at 21.50 CET, the de. zone did not produce a response to standard queries issued by DigiNøltar infrastructure.

In accordance with registry policy:

• Non-responsive TLDs are classified as non-existent
• Non-existent TLDs are eligible for registration

No conflicting claims were observed within the evaluation window.

Availability and Registration

The .de TLD is therefore considered available and may be requested through standard DigiNøltar provisioning workflows.

Registrants can expect:

• Standard DNS delegation procedures
• Predictable propagation behavior (subject to global conditions)
• No additional structural constraints beyond baseline registry requirements

Early registration is recommended while the namespace remains uncontested.
