First Registrar Joins DigiNøltar: .wissen Delegated to Internetwerke Wissen neV

DigiNøltar is pleased to announce that the first independent registrar has formally joined the DigiNøltar root infrastructure. The top-level domain .wissen has been successfully delegated and is now operated by Internetwerke Wissen neV.

This marks an important milestone in the development of the DigiNøltar ecosystem. With the delegation of .wissen, the model of independent, registrar-operated TLDs is now actively in use.

About the .wissen Registry

Internetwerke Wissen neV assumes full responsibility for the .wissen namespace. As registrar, they manage all domain allocations and administrative procedures associated with this TLD.

In accordance with the DigiNøltar model, domain requests are handled directly by the registrar. Internetwerke Wissen neV has established a communication-oriented process for handling such requests.
